Improve business processes by using technology to automate manual tasks.

A Revolution Takes an Army (of trained Digital Workers)

Robots, bots, drones, automation. The future is here. Technology has advanced to the point that we can now automate a significant number of tasks that humans have historically done. But what exactly are we automating? Are we taking existing processes "as is" and automating them, or are we seeking to improve the processes as we embrace this technological revolution?

So how should a business improve its processes while implementing technology? By choosing the right internal and external partners to help guide you through the revolution. In our business, we have married our technology expertise with our industry and functional area subject matter experts to ensure that not only are we helping our clients:

  • lower costs

  • achieve greater work output

  • increase employee satisfaction

But we are also examining the processes that we are automating to ensure that they reflect industry best practices and are compliant with applicable rules and regulations. Combining these different skill sets, our team can quickly distill a process to its essential components and then automate it efficiently.

Recently our team met with a client about automating some of their manual processes. The client shared that they had previously attempted to use internal IT resources to automate a different process. Unfortunately, the project had foundered as the IT team struggled to understand the intricacies of the process and tried to automate the manual process precisely as the human workers had done it. The result was frustration on all sides and ultimately the inability to complete the automation. This is not the way.

By combining technology and subject expertise, a multi-functional team can deploy intelligent Digital Workers trained in the intricacies of the subject area and automate a streamlined and compliant process. Not only do these new workers have the requisite skills on launch, but through an ongoing subscription service, these workers can also be quickly retrained or upskilled to account for any regulatory changes.

In the words of Buckminster Fuller: "You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."

The time is now to begin building these new work models by utilizing a diverse group of experts that understand both the subject area and the promise of high skilled Digital Workers.
